Attention all Klingons. The good ship U.S.S. Cult TV needs you. We have been around the UK for the last 12 years and in our 13th year make a return to the starbase where we started our voyage. We will be docked at the Seacroft Holiday Village Hemsby, Great Yarmouth, between 20-23 October 2006.

Full details are at www.cult.tv

We extend shore leave to you all. Details on how to join us are at the bottom of this message. Of particular interest to you will be a couple of guests from the Star Trek universe:

* John Schuck * - Klingon ambassador in both Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country. He has appeared in each of the last three Star Trek series and guest starred in more TV series and films than I can possibly mention so check out his biography here: http://www.cult.tv/in...

His appearance at the Festival is a UK exclusive for 2006.

* Ron B Moore * - Emmy award winning special effects for Star Trek – Enterprise. He also worked on ST-TNG and Voyager and was SFx supervisor on Star Trek - Generations.

I said we need you – we want a Klingon honour guard to escort Mr Schuck on and off stage, but we have a problem - just once Klingon! One Klingon does not make an honour guard! He’s a nice guy, he rendezvous’ with us every year wherever we have docked. He likes his blood wine or is that prune juice? (I can never tell.) He would like to meet up with his Klingon brothers and sisters this year and have you all greet Mr Schuck.

We have a total of 19 guests with us so far (out of a total of 25) covering such Human entertainment as Doctor Who to Star Wars, Space 1999 / other Gerry Anderson series, Blake’s 7, Starsky & Hutch, Irwin Allen’s Land of the Giants, Battlestar Galactica, One Foot in the Grave, McCloud and The Munsters Today (Mr. Schuck again) amongst many others. Also expect many interactive workshops including one on sword fighting! Bet you could all show that guest a thing of two with your Bat'leths?

Other guests include
* Elisabeth Sladen * - Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who, recently in the David Tennant episode ‘School Reunion’ with:
* John Leeson * - The voice of K9.
* Dave Prowse MBE * - the Green X Code Man (remember those adverts?) and more film and TV work than you may have possibly realised and yes, Darth Vader in Star Wars.
* Richard Wilson * - Doctor Constantine in two 2005 series episodes of Doctor Who and Victor Meldrew in the sit-com One Foot In The Grave.
* Antonio Fargas * - Huggy Bear in Starsky & Hutch (tv series).
* Herb Jefferson Jnr & Terry Carter – the original Boomer and Colonel Tigh in Battlestar Galactica.
* Stefan Arngrim * - Barry Lockridge (the kid) in the Irwin Allen tv series Land of the Giants. He is also a very accomplished musician and is returning to the UK for the first time in nearly a decade.
* Richard Bonehill * - the aforementioned sword-master. He has worked on six different Doctor Who stories in the Peter Davison and Colin Baker eras and on Star Wars Episodes V & VI

There are another eight guests (so far) so check out:

As with events of this type, guests appear subject to work and personal commitments.

Accommodation is included on the starbase and there are four levels. Prices start from GBP79 per person for the 3 nights (i.e. less than GBP27 a night) and are on a hard board basis (we know you Klingons don’t like soft beds) with Gagh, Rokeg blood pie etc available for breakfast and evening meals.
